敬虔的奧秘

1Ti 3:16  大哉，敬虔的奧秘！無人不以為然：

就是 神在肉身顯現，被聖靈稱義，被天使看見，

被傳於外邦，被世人信服，被接在榮耀裡。

1Ti 3:16  Great indeed, we confess, is the mystery of godliness: He was manifested in the flesh, vindicated by the Spirit, seen by angels, proclaimed among the nations, believed on in the world, taken up in glory. (ESV)

敬虔的奧秘就是認識耶穌基督，並且以祂為至寶，祂必榮耀地再來。今天我們越多結果子，神就越在我們的工作與生命中得著榮耀。將來祂也將帶領得勝的基督徒一同進入祂永恆的榮耀中。

保羅書信中至少有四首的基督頌詩，(Christological Hymns)
是初代教會所使用的頌詩，頌詩的內容反映了當時信徒／教會的信仰告白
